71 commercial ships received by the Juliana Free Zone Port during August

Benghazi, September 05, 2025 (Libyan News Agency) – The Head of the Marine Services Department at the Juliana Free Zone Port, Samir Al-Nabbal, stated that the port received 71 commercial ships during the past month of August, including 36 container vessels, 5 car carriers, 10 ships transporting bulk cement, in addition to 2 ships loaded with asphalt, 1 ship loaded with barley, and 4 ships carrying general cargo.

Al-Nabbal explained to the Libyan News Agency that the oil berth at the port also received 13 fuel tankers during the same period, loaded with quantities of gasoline, diesel, cooking gas, and heavy fuel oil.

He pointed out that the Juliana Free Zone Administration has mobilized all necessary resources to ensure the safe and swift unloading of arriving ships, while adhering to the completion of the required customs and administrative procedures to release the goods and deliver them to their owners without delay.
